At this point in the show/book who hold's Storm's End?
Stannis. Storms End is the Baratheon home like Casterly Rock is to the lannisters and Winterfell to the Starks.

He is, but he has other men holding down Storm's End.

Ser Gilbert Farring is Stannis' Castellan at Storm's End since Ser Cortnay Penrose mysteriously died, with Lord Elwood Meadows as his second-in-command and Stannis' uncle, Ser Lomas Estermont
and you thought the TV show had a ton of characters

ok, thank you now I remember what happened- it was prior to Blackwater

right. there were two assassin smoke fetuses in the books. the TV show combined them into one
the well known Davos and Melisandre approach by boat to the caves with the iron bars was under storm's end in the book when Penrose was being stubborn.

I remember now, I tend to forget about people, Eric Storm, that aren't in the show.

Edric is there, but in the show he's a dead baby in a jar.

I thought those were Stannis & Selyse miscarriages.

just don't know how the show is playing a certain aspect f that story line. They may have went another way or they may be waiting on a later reveal.
I'm beginning to see how it can be difficult to separate book and show info and hence how semi-spoilers are easy to make.
Some seemingly harmless book detail left out in the show could end up being a big surprise.

they were, but the fact that they called one of them Edric is a nod to book readers I guess

Not the first one. Something only book readers would have noticed was when Pod was getting the hookers they said one of them could make a Mereense Knot, which is how GRRM referred to writing difficulties he was having between the 4th and 5th books. It has no meaning to the book or show in fact, just a tip of the hat to readers who were frustrated with the slow book writing progress.

Hugo, please add a spoiler warning to this post as someone has indicated the link you provided has spoilers in it.
Though I'm not sure why someone would be looking at the order to read the chapters for books 4 and 5 in if they hadn't already read book 3.

and Hugo's post has spoilers for books 4 and 5, here's a friendlier link for those who haven't read 4 or 5 (but have read the first 3 - so spoiler alert)
