Taking wife to Hampton Inn tonight on St Charles to look at houses tomorrow. Any suggestions for a cool place to get good food and drinks tonight near uptown or Central Park?
Emphasis on food quality and not being in too shady of an area.... wife needs some convincing. Thanks.

Upperline, Gautreaux's or Clancy's all have a
neighborhood feel, but with amazing food. Not sure
if they are open on Mon so google and buzz them.

These two are. Add Atchafalaya and Dick and Jennie's. Probably the best four options Uptown.

All are fairly casual. Other than Gautreau's shouldn't
need a reservation on a Mon night.

They have the best wine list in town when value is considered. If you need any recs, just ask.

Ok... a good Pinot noir or Malbec, by glass or bottle, under $100, that I can't find at a grocery store.

I'm not picking your wine... Too subjective. Their list is fantastic. 2x mark up, not 3x like most places. I was talking about food.

20 second walk and one of the most underrated places in town.
