Is there a way to know how much I can OC my CPU? I'll be running an FX 8320 with a Hyper TX3 cooler and a GTX 760 GPU. Corsair CX600W PSU to power it all.

you can search to see what others have achieved, but your results will vary. Don't assume that you'll be able to achieve the same OC as others with similar setup. Make sure you do things incrementally.

There's not a definitive way to tell. Every chip is different. Some people can get over 4.6-4.8 with the 8320 and some can't. It just depends on the bin of that particular chip. Just experiment with it, but make sure your core temp is below 62c. I have an 8350 and can run 4.5-4.6 on stock voltage. AMD chips are usually good for an extra 300-400 Mhz without adding any voltage.
You could probably get your to 4.0-4.1 on stock voltage. Probably get it all the way up to 4.4-4.5 with pushing the voltage to 1.45-1.48. Maybe higher mayber lower. It's a crap shoot.
Also, your motherboard can become a big factor when trying to go with really high overclocks.

Bruce and I proved the bin between an 8320 and 8350 a couple of months ago.
I needed insane voltages to keep up clocks on my AMD rig.

Blue and Puff, as for the magni..
I haven't used it in nearly a year once replacing with the vali. So I don't mind sending it to you guys, maybe we can whore it to Puff to try and he ships to Blue.

That was a good time. I still need to send my H100i back. Currently using a hyper 212 that LSU was gracious enough to send me. I doubt I do anything in the coming future though. Just kind of burned out, and I feel like the only thing to snap me out of the funk is a new case. I would like a 900D, but I don't have enough stuff to make it worth getting. I like the H440 a lot too, but I feel like I would just be buying the same case as I have now(phantom 410). Especially since I've modded mine to take up to a 360 rad.

Blue did you ever receive the SLi I sent months ago?
I just received the returned package stating no such address.

Think you answered your own question

Is it worth it to OC? I'm a moderate gamer, nothing too heavy. I'll be running my OS and main programs/games off of my 240GB SSD, and I'll have 8GB of RAM. I thought about 16 but I doubt I need that much. At least not right now.

That's weird, and I never got it.
About the magni, I wouldn't mind trying it out before I buy it. I want something a little more appealing than this Fiio

It's free performance. Why wouldn't you do it? Plus, it's fun.

Sending you the picture on Skype.
No wonder you never commented on the envelope.

I'm selling a lot of hardware (all top of the fckking line shtt) with blocks and all for cheap. This might sound silly to you guys but I'm going to start a software and services company which specializes in controls of Project/Construction Management. Potential clients will be commercial and industrial construction, processing and manufacturing facilities.
I won't quit my FT employer but will heavily push my program. There is a huge need in the area, as the market needs stand, it has a chance to be profitable along with potential partnerships.

I saw that the dt990 pro 250 ohms were up to 175 this morning, so I didn't pull the trigger. While I appreciate the offer to test drive the magni, I would've had to had bought the modi and the 990s at the $130 price point to make it worth doing. Plus, I would need to buy a decent stand alone mic for CSGO. One look at my student loan debt made me decide not to pursue the high end audio route quite yet. One day though...
Again, I really appreciate the offer but you'd be better off just selling to blue .

You really do need a better mic. You're always breaking up or sounding distorted.
Posted on 3/23/14 at 8:21 am to ILikeLSUToo
Well perhaps I will start there and buy things incrementally. What do you recommend? I'm looking at the blue snowball.
