This really chaps your a$$ that I'm not just mindlessly drinking the Kool-Aid, doesn't it? I didn't even say that. I'm saying that watching 20 minutes (or so - that is a wild a$$ guess - may have bee 8 - may have been 30 - it wasn't an entire episode - and it was say, Episode 4 or 5 of the first season - it was so very long ago) made me appreciate that I did not like the new series. Therefore, I don't have to then assume that the old series was necessarily "better", but I could eliminate all of the assertions I heard that it was "far superior" - and since I watched all of the old series (and parts of Galactica 1980, but that was godawful), and yet could not get through an entire episode of the new series.
