I'm not used to seeing a homebrew thread without Bug's Hombrewing: preface in the title.
No, you can't/shouldn't do that.
Dry hop for a week or so then bottle.

Dry hopping is great. Don't want to skimp on it. Not sure what all equipment you have but if you're using pellet hops you might want to find a nylon hop bag to dry hop with so you don't end up with hop particles in your finished beer.

You can also use panty hose for a cheap and readily available hop bag.
Don't skimp on the dry hop!

I have a pale ale that's been dry hopping for 2 weeks, you can come bottle it

i tried to use a bag and it got stuck trying to get it in the carboy, and I got pissed because the pellets were dissolving, so I just dumped them in
gonna take forever to screen that out when transfering to the bottling bucket

Stick a bag on the end of your racking cane.

nice
i have a pretty fine mesh strainer I normally use that will probably catch it all without needing the screen in my funnel, but I may try the bag method instead

The rosemary IPA is dry-hopping right now.
Might pull that out and give it a 5-day second addition before I keg it.
I was reading a Pliny recipe and they did two stages of dry hopping.

Probably don't want to be using a strainer or funnel post fermentation?

Pliny and most of the other big DIPAs are just bittering hops(extracts) then late hop and dry hop the frick out of them.

why is that?

Not exactly sure how you're using it but when transferring beer around post fermentation you want to be careful to not slosh or splash the beer in any way. As closed of a transfer you can get as possible is best.
Siphon in the carboy down to a vessel that's been purged with CO2 or just by being careful not to let it splash.

so it's just a matter of oxygenating the beer? I normally transfer from a carboy to a bottling bucket and place the lid on it, not sealing it though. I don't have a way to purge with CO2

Yes. No worries about purging just don't splash it when you transfer.
