Than Charles Carmouche? I do not agree at all.

GT def > CC def

CC off > GT off

MT off > CC off

CC def > MT off

MT off > GT off

GT def > MT def

Carmouche is better defender but mt5 wad way better defender than he got credit for. After Trent benched him for game or 2 he was really tight rest of year

I don't think Mouche could be a regular in the NBA due to injury.

lol, its not because of injury, its because he's not that good.

not fast/quick/athletic enough to play in the NBA

he has trouble standing out in a rather untalented LSU backcourt

Carmouche and Del Piero will be starting with the Heat Big 3 next season.

You do realize that I never denied MT's offensive talent. He was not a complete player though. And, he's listed at about 6'4".

What I'm saying is Marcus could drop 30 on any given night...Carmouche is extremely streaky...dont get me wrong..he's a good college player..but he is no where in the galaxy of Marcus Thornton..just imagine Marcus in the offense we have now..Lottery pick.

Hickey's career will explode next year when he's able to distribute the ball more like a tru PG instead of being the 1st or 2nd option on the team.

Why did Carmouche transfer twice?

I never said CC was better than MT or on his level offensively. I compared their height and defense.

Someone made a statement in an earlier post saying he had to play point guard because he's 6'4". Why? The average point guard is about 6'2" or shorter.

It's cool to see how many of you can predict the future. I just think the guy is a good ball player who has gotten better as the season went on. The are a lot of scrubs in the NBA. Not saying he is going to get drafted, but all it takes is one person, scout, media outlet, or coach to like him and start some buzz.

And no sh*t I know CJJ starts Stringer instead of CC, but Jeremy Lin was in the same position several times. No he's not Jeremy Lin, but the story has happened before.

He went to UNO first but then they went down in divisions and allowed all players to transfer without penalty so he was offered at Memphis.

Then he graduated but had one year left of eligibility to he came home, got on with LSU, and is now getting his masters degree

You have to stop comparing Carmouche to NBA players.

And this isn't true. He is having a good run over the past 4 games but he went through a cold spell over three games in the beginning of Feb where he averaged 5 points a game over that span. He is way too insconsistent, regardless of height, to be in the NBA.

Don't think so? Torris Bright was the best 3 point shooter in LSU history and he is 6'4". What team he plays for now?

Not a chance in hell. He has chronic knee injuries and is in no way explosive enough to get his own shot.

In this thread he was compared to Thornton and Temple. Lol. I'll give u a comparison which is spot on except for shooting. Jon Scheyer. And he didn't even sniff the nba.

Oh and Marcus Thornton is 6'4" by the way. Not sure how anyone missed that.
