This is only my second trip, and we only fished yoyo's at night. I'm going to get there a little earlier this time and do a little riding around.
We launched at the north end of the lake last time and only went a couple hundred yards to the right and started tying them in the trees. We caught about a dozen decent sacs in just a few hours.
This time we're staying all night and gonna put out more yoyo's so hopefully we do a little better.

went bassing there yesterday. only caught 2, 1 too small and one slot. didn't see any yoyo's hanging but saw lots of gators. water temp was around 62 degrees. good luck out there.

Just free advice, but I stay with mine the first couple of hours. A fish on a yo-yo means you can't catch another so I run them/re-bait during prime time.
Then I go make a fire and cook or re-heat something I brought to kill some time then run them again.
About 2 hours before sunrise I run them all and re-bait then come back right when I can see again.
