not sure why this got anchored
Maybe because it is the umpteen bajillionith thread about this meaningless mid-weed baseball game?
Or it could be because your "World Series" schtick has played out...

This is my first thread! Why have y'all posted so many threads about it if it's meaningless?

Is the game being televised?

I believe it will be on ESPN3, but blacked out around Lafayette.

If you live in Lafayette it will be on Cox channel 13. It is supposed to be on ESPN3 but that's inconsistent.

I can't predict the future, but I know for sure that our season opener was 2.15.2013, and our season finale* is 5.18.2013.

In state road games are fun!!! Why don't we travel to La Tech for a game? Oh, that's right, Simoneaux will have 4 guys warming up in the bullpen so that they can plunk the first 3 LSU batters just to show that "We won't be pushed around". Never mind those two straigh butt whippings with a Super Regional berth on the line. You earn respect by throwing at batters, not by winning on the field.

I remember almost all LSU postseason games from 1986 to present. Nice try though.

It's a midweek baseball game against 2 in state schools, far more important to one team's RPI than the other team. One team, & their fans, have a big brother/little brother chip on their shoulder & that causes a lot of back & forth between the fan bases. One team was relevant about 10 years ago & that was the peak of this big bro lil bro rivalry, since that time the other team has won 2 more National Championships. Again, midweek in state games are fun but relatively meaningless for
big brothers.
big brothers.
