Yeah more like an hour is 20 miles. Just looking for some info before I invest a lot of time reading how to books

I just figure you drive 60 miles in an hour. Change oil every 3000-6000 in most diesels. Longer in some of the newer ones.
Marine motors not operating in the dust so oil should stay clean. I'm sure there are recommendations from cummins. Should be easy to email them.
