Coming from some that dodge questions repeatedly.
Again, double standards.
I'd say insulting posters who disagree with you, pounding the same emotional declarations over and over when someone dissents stifles things. A better alternative is to make points solidly, which you also do well. Why you choose to do the other as often as you do is disappointing.
For examples, since that is the next question, you told the one guy he just parrots analysis and has nothing to refute.your cold hard facts... all while inventing histories of various polls.

Still a pretty accurate statement. Maybe he'll buy you a drink for defending his honor.

You are the dumbass that tried to compare two polls that are more different than apples and oranges. You know you made that statement to try to bait me. That's the passive aggressive part.

Irving is not a top 5 PG
Yes he is
Easily

I gotta admit, you do come off as a pretty big douche bag on this board

Way to respond classily.
I did not try to compare the polls.
No one tried to bait you, you just reacted to an observation that applies to you and.others. And that is NOT what passive-aggressive behavior is.
At any rate, I responded to.your questions satisfactorily, I take it.
I'll take Davis by the way.

I don't give a shite about the personal squabble. But even if Irving is a top five PG, I'd choose Davis to "build around" in fricking heartbeat and it has nothing to do with being a homer. Assuming he's not a bust (and there's no evidence to suggest that's the case), a guy at 6'10" with his skill set and upside is an easy choice over a talented PG. Seriously. How many of those guys are around?

What have I dodged?

I'll consider adding that to my tombstone.

What specific aspects of his game are elite?

they don't allow for the same efficiencies and hog the ball too much, basically
cp3 will need to become more of a scorer in the playoffs if the clips want to win it all

-Very good handle, one of the best in the league
-Elite speed
-can beat guys off the dribble going to the basket and pulling up for jumpers
-About as clutch as they come in the NBA in the 4th
Statistical, For point guards:
-Top scoring PG at over 23 ppg, 6th in FG%
-Top five in 3pt%, top 10 in 3's made
-7th in rbds at 3.7 a game
-Top 10 in steals with 1.7 a game
I know, I just parrot analysts and have no match your all-powerful intellect and all-encompassing Hornets and NBA knowledge, but just a few observations and stats I have from what I've seen from him

I realize he isn't a great defender, and doesn't pass particularly well (of course who the frick is he supposed to pass it to that roster) but the good thing about having literally all the physical tools in the world is you can get better at those things
Posted on 2/12/13 at 7:58 pm to danman6336
Oh, and with 22.92 PER, he's 4th among point guards, 7th among all guards, and 13th in the entire league

And with all of that, if Davis develops as expected he'll be more valuable as the "conerstone" . . as they say.

true, but he was just defending irving as a top 5 pg
Posted on 2/12/13 at 8:35 pm to SlowFlowPro
I still prefer a pg who can distribute efficiently.
Posted on 2/12/13 at 8:39 pm to danman6336
Anthony Davis has the 7th best PER among all PFs this season and is 30th overall.
Irving clocked in a 23 in PER last season (a shortened one at that)
Both are nice players. The whole "this position is more important than that one" when it comes to championship teams is stupid. Good teams win championships, not elite PGs or C
