I've been living in Baton Rouge for almost 10 years and have never been.
I've heard prices are high but I'm interested in taking the ole lady soon and just wondering how much dinner would be.

$50-75/person plus alcohol. Depends on what you get.

So basically expect to pay $100-$150 for a date?

That's about right, yes. $150 is a safe # for two, including tip.

I went last week with the ol lady. I had turtle soup, cowboy ribeye, we shared au gratin potatoes. She had a Caesar salad, the special which was 2 4 oz filet medallions covered in a crab and lobster sauce. After dinner she had a glass of port, I had a gentleman jack. Bill was $175 with tip. Great meal, great service, was totally worth it.

Should be about $120-150 for two. Get the creamed spinach as a side

Really depends on how much you order. If you get apps, steaks, sides, desserts and alcohol, you can run up a nice bill, but it's all good. I enjoy every meal there. If you like sweet potatoes, their side is really good.

I like the place too. The atmosphere is not the best, but the steaks are top notch. As long as you stay away from the pricey wines, it is totally worth it IMO.

I've never been to the one in BR. I've eaten at a few others and always enjoyed it.
I think Mrs. Wales and I are gonna go tomorrow night for an early Valentines dinner since the kids are at the inlaws.

Thanks guys! Luckily for me the ol lady is a beer drinker so I don't have to worry about overpriced wines!

Get the cowboy ribeye.

150.00 is about right, but really worth it, the filets are the best I have had.

I ate a similar place to place to ruths in little rock couple weeks ago called sonny Williams.
Best filet I've ever had.
It had something on it that set it apart, I slight hint of hollandaise marinade.
Bill was 150 for two.

Worst restaurant steak I've ever had. It was fatty and gristly as shite. It was cooked in so much butter that it made my stomach turn from the butter alone. In fact, it didnt seam to have any type of seasoning at all whatsoever except for the butter. No salt, no pepper, no spices of any kind, just endless gobs and gobs of butter.
It was nothing short of disgusting.
Flemmings and Shula's are FAR better choices for a steak here in Birmingham.
