Why do we need to sell ourself? He is considering Ole Miss which is a lesser situation. I would be honest and tell him we have lots of talent on the DL and is he willing to put in the work to beat someone out and play with the best.

Death Valley Saturday night.
Golden Band from Tiger Land.
Mike the Tiger staring down his prey.
Richter scale.
National TV.
Here comes the boom.
I'd give him a DVD compilation of those LesMiles.net videos to take home and watch over and over. Some of the best edited/produced college football videos I've ever seen. If that doesn't get you excited, nothing will.

Son your going to the NFL! How much would it cost for us to get you to play for LSU?
RN says X amount.
Well son you will probably sign for 4X more when you go to the NFL if you play for LSU.
On top of that you won't have to endure SEC losing season after losing season and you will have that ring you've said you wanted. Seems like a no brainer. Welcome aboard!

People can always judge the sincerity of pitch, that is why important to pitch the truth.

Your mom can fly into BR with less stops than Oxford.

i don't think that would really be a factor. Also NFL is going to find you no matter what school you go to. I would sell him on the fact that it really isn;t that far to Oxford and he, his mom and his brother could still get together fairly easily. Sell him on our academic program. It seems to be getting good results. If he likes it here and feels it is more of a fit for him then come here, if it feels more of a fit at Ole Miss then go there. Yea and push the facilities and Tiger stadium game night atmosphere also.

Additionally, I would tell this kid that he has a chance to be a part of a historically dominant defensive unit. Better than anything that Montgomery, Mingo, Nevis, Dorsey, or Jackson were a part of. What we're putting together could be better than any of those units, and he could be the centerpiece.
He'll be good wherever he goes, but he's not going to make history at OM.

This is very true.

Doubleteams restricting your talent display.
One of these 2 programs is too talented for it.
We'd like to see you as part of something special at LSU, not a man on an island.

By this point I've told him everything he needs to know. I send him out with the guys and let LSU do work. Set up some key notes to a successful night.
And have his personal tweeter follow him around all night to tweet shite for him.
Ole miss: "we play football like women, but we never lose a party"
Meh, I've been to ole miss parties. NOBODY parties like Cajuns.

- There is no better place than LSU for you to pursue your dreams of being an NFL player
- The LSU system contains the full range of academic options, including a Law School, Medical School, Veterinary School, as well as excellent undergraduate programs in basic sciences, engineering and liberal arts.
- You will compete for SEC and BCS championships, and play in nationally televised games, virtually every week.
- Baton Rouge is a wonderful place to be a young man in his late teens/early 20s.
- We have a live Bengal/Siberian hybrid tiger as our mascot.
- You will be the first Nkemdiche in LSU football history.
