I'm not trying to make lite of this situation, because i'm sure this was a very painful experience for the little girl and i'm positive meaux feels horrible.
However - Lawyers? Police? Ambulance? Plastic surgery? Future Therapy? Settlements? Insurance?
Seriously? Did all of yall vote for Obama?
Stitch her leg (now she has a scar and a story to tell), Kill the damn dog (theres no place on earth for biting dogs), Buy her a puppy (the best therapy there is) !!!

There's no wa I could get away with vigilante justice so that's what the lawyer is for and as for the rest of them you listed, glad to know you'd just rub some tussin on your kids bo-bo and call it ok but most caring parents would do the absolute.best for their kid to make sure they're ok.

I have two chihuahuas. The little bastards are more vicious than mu old 120# American Staffordshire.
One day they love everybody, the next they are biting ankles. But they are great around my kids. The male snapped at my daughter.
Once, after he and I had a dog/owner discussion, he has been a model citizen of our household around our two girls.

This kinda stuff get's me excited for some reason. I had a neighbor with a problem dog. Before they moved I realized the worst thing I did was bring it to their attention, and the attention of the proper authority. After that, it was in my best interest to keep that dog alive, or else I'd be getting a knock at my door.
Most of the time it's the owner's fault and not the fault of the dog, but you get in less trouble for killing a dog I think.

I have 2 beautifull daughters that mean the world to me and i beleive i'm a great parent.
I understand your upset because your baby is hurting and because your so emotional you're being a little over dramatic. In the coming weeks cooler heads will prevail.

I like the way you think. After seeing that piss poor stitch job though, I would at least get that done proper.
MJ, hate it for you little girl man, but this will pass and just be a scar. Glad its not on her face, then I would go with a Plastic Sx.

these are the most aggressive dog breeds from an insurance loss control point of view.
It looks like they're using scare tactics to sell a book.

OK, girls handle scars differently, especially now. Most ER docs don't know shite about really good stitching technique and it shows.
My suggestion to the OP was that he visit a specialist on account of the scar may bother the girl down the road. Why not get it fixed proper?
I would imagine your girls would say the same thing.
