Ohhh I cant wait for my parts to come in.
There's a specific reason why I didn't wait for new cards

This has all been gibberish to me but I'm still reading it. that's how bad my pc itch has been.

yeah the only thing really stopping me right now is we are bundled with phone, and in this house our cellphones arent worth a damn. we will move eventually, and as long as i get reception in the new place i wont even bother ordering cable.
hell i have most of the components laying around the house - spare PSUs, RAM, etc. even a 1 TB 2.5 inch drive
im considering holding off on upgrading my PC until 2014 and sticking with AM3+ if they produce something worth a damn. id like to stick with AMD but they will have to show something when its time to build. i guess the games could come around and start actually making use of what AMD has to offer as well

I'm building something as well but I can't talk about it because I said I wasn't going to do it.

I was talking about building a new PC but decided to hold off. The bug hit me and now I'm in full swing with a new build.

I know what you mean.
It is addicting upgrading and building systems.

I'm going a little crazy with this one. The good news is that if and when I decide to upgrade to Haswell I'll only need a motherboard and CPU. Everything else will be rock solid. I'll post pics when it's done but it will be a couple of weeks.

What is the ETA on Haswell?
Posted on 1/23/13 at 8:57 am to Mr Gardoki
Sometime second quarter or even later. It's pretty vague right now.

Haswell will only get me upset because Ivy-E still won't be out.
Idk if I will upgrade to haswell. I'm saying that but I know I will want to test it out. They are suppose to OC like a dream. Intel has stated that is thier goal, to give over clockers more options on their unlocked chips.

I read Intel is pulling out of the Mobo market after their next release. Will we be missing anything?
Posted on 1/23/13 at 9:41 am to Mr Gardoki
nobody uses an intel mobo anyways

I love Intel's skulltrails but the bios suck for OCers. They made a pretty decent x79 and z77 chipset last year.

I can't get the computer to power up. It is plugged in, psu switch is on, and I believe I have the power button connected correctly.
