I'm happy we are going to start off next season under the radar.

LSU football is so much better when the expectations on the team aren't as high. This year for the most part was miserable because I thought we had the best team in the country (judging by the early defections we may have had the most talent). I was not at all able to enjoy the 10 win season.

Next year I will be thrilled with 10 wins and a couple of upsets over the big 4 of Bama, A&M, Georgia, and Florida. Some of us look at our schedule and view it as unfair or a hinderance, but after our defections and this obviously being a rebuilding year, it will be instrumental in developing our young talent.

In short, I am very excited to see the young guys develop and more excited to actually enjoy LSU football again.

Agree. LSU will be scary good in the upcoming years.

Miles also seems to do better as a under dog.

If we're talking about the gameday experience and atmosphere, I completely agree. Our team handles pressure well though, IMO.

I'm praying we only lose 3 or 4. I could see us dropping games to Ole Miss and TCU as well as those four. Most likely 9-3 with a decent bowl appearance though.

Eh. This season would feel a thousand times better had we beaten Clemson and Alabama had lost to ND or Georgia.

Right now I want LSU to come out and blow the doors off every team we play.

Enough of squeaking out wins against teams we should step on.

We have no chance until we have better discipline and get rid of the chronic.

Yeah I guess I'm happy to start out with a perceived mediocre team that will inevitably struggle on offense again bc without any expectations I won't be disappointed by the music city bowl.

The amount of rationalization that has been happening in support of Miles and especially now after the Bama stomping of ND is sickening. It's hard to watch LSU football when your face is in your palm more than it's on the screen. With the amount of talent that LSU has on defense and special teams, this should not be the case and should anger all LSU fans who expect excellence in a team that is capable of living up to it.
