Widespread Panic 2001 in Jackson Ms memorial stadium. RL Burnside opened for them I was a freshman in high school, really opened my eyes to say the least.

1969 - Steppenwolf at Hirsch Colesium in Shreveport. Looking at the framed poster from the concert that is hung in my home office. Advance tickets $3.50. Tickets at the door..$4.50.

Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac and Rory Gallagher April 38, 1973 at the Oakland Coliseum Arena. Deep Purple and Rory Gallagher just amazaed me. Fleetwood Mac was post-Peter Green and Pre-Buckingham & Nicks.

I saw the Stones with Montrose, Trapeze, and the Eagles at the Cotton Bowl in July 1975. Billy Preston was with them. I was 19 and stationed at Ft. Hood. Third concert ever. I thought they were old then! I guess young people think they are the only people on earth.
