Well I made the first layaway payment anyway. Should have it paid off in january. I'll report from the range when she comes in.

Just out of curiosity, why did you pick a 10mm?
Nothing wrong with it mind you and that's not what I'm saying.

I thought you were getting a 36?

I'll eventually get the 36 for cc, but for now the taurus .45 will work in that dept.
I wanted something that could place an accurate killshot on larger critters at 30-40 yards, that's why I went with the 10mm.
Yes I am white
Christmas breaks me every year and I didn't want to fork out that kind of money in one payment. I don't "need" a pistol right now, so layaway was the best option.

Also, whats with the auction shite on LINK
you're on the right sight. Use the search function on the top left of the page to find what you're looking for and you can buy guns/ammo/accessories outright
The bids on the front page redirect you to bidgunner.
Basically, when you sign up you get like 10 free bids, and then you can purchase bids for your account. I think it's like 325 dollars for 500 bids.
A glock 19 sold on there over the weekend for $6.58
The winning bidder could have placed one bid and won paid 6.58 for the gun, or he could have placed 300 bids and paid $250 for the gun.
It's a high risk/high reward site. You can pick up a brand new pistol for irt cheap, but you can also lose 325 dollars and have nothing to show for it

Yeah, frick that noise. Thanks for the heads up.
BTW-Why did you choose to purchase from them?

You think Christmas breaks you, just wait till you go looking for ammo for that thing!
And welcome to the 10mm club...
Here's mine:

I also have a longer barrel that I am waiting to try out on some deerz. I can shoot pretty good groups at 50yds with it, but I think every shot I make with a pistol is luck so TIFWIW

None of the pawn shops or retailers around here had a 10mm. It's not really a mainstream pistol but it's the one I wanted. Since I don't need a pistol immediately I went ahead and ordered from them (they sell out in a hurry, the 20 and 20sf were available yesterday, not available today)
The ammo is pricey, but buds has decent deals on ammo also.

Yea I'm going to see how it shoots at 50-60 and determine whether to get the barrel extension. Did you buy from lone wolf with external ports?

What's the OB's thought on Heckler & Koch pistols?
