It's ridiculously easy, especially if you have a lawyer friend as i did. They draw up the paperwork, you sign, couple of witnesses sign it, then they notorize it. Done.

It is stupid easy, if you use a good attorney. I recommend an attorney out of NOLA. He charges $350 and keeps your trust on file forever and will make any changes free of charge. He is wildly popular and highly recommended on BayouShooter and he is also recommended by the two Class 3 dealers that I would suggest people to use.
If you have a BS account, his username is Mouthpiece over there. PM him and he will get the ball rolling and answer and and all questions that you may have. He has helped walk me through all of the state and ATF forms too, even though he was already paid and it had nothing to do with the trust. He is also an avid gun enthusiast and owns lots of class 3 items himself.
If you do not have a BS account, post your email and Ill shoot you his contact info.

He will give you a list of things that he needs from you. Names and addresses. You gotta decide who is going to play what role in your trust. Once you do this and give him the information, it takes less than a week. I think he got mine back within 4 days. If you live in or near NOLA he will notarize it for you. I do not and paid $10 to get it done locally.

Settlor (you)
Beneficiary
Successor
1 additional trustee
Most attorneys do not do it this way but this is technically how the ATF requires trust be setup. He said with the current climate he does not skip any corners.

My LPK from Palmetto just arrived. What tools do I need to put this and my stripped lower together?
Posted on 3/18/13 at 2:51 pm to SW2SCLA
Small roll pin punch set, pliers, tape, razor knife for detents patience and a low temper . You can set the pins with the punches, and tape the jaws of the pliers along with the bolt catch area of the lower.
ETA: I think ARFCOM has a layout of tools, kit parts, and instructions. I watched a youtube video as I put mine together.

I use a pair of pliars that are taped up at the ends for roll pins and a razor blade to get front detent in.
Punches don't hurt but aren't necessary.

I post this pic out of boredom and sadness, been stuck like this for a WHILE (along with 2 Pmags and 40 rds). I dont think I will ever get to finish it. If anyone has a spare yak or pirogue I will gladly trade.
