While I would have gladly chosen your pasta over my dinner, the all American boys over here are not having it. They eat what they hunt.
eta: and I am sick so the macaroni was not even homemade and the greenbeans had no onions

Did u ever address the Carson chicken thread?0 lol
I've been out of the country since last Tuesday. Salmon pointed it out to me today and I read it over. Sounded like a bunch of sissy shite, IMO. Not my bag. Left it alone.

Yeah I had a laugh. I don't start threads or post on here because I need coddling. I'm aware that I'm opinionated, but that doesn't stop me from being able to take criticism when I frick something up. I welcome it. I don't come here to be patted on the back.

I don't think my wright's thick cut is more or less healthy than your homemade bacon.
I also don't think my kraft deluxe is any more or less healthy than your pasta.
Bacon is bacon and pasta is pasta. And you eat both also so don't look down on me.
But I will venture to say your dinner tonight tasted better than mine due to the ingredients.

I'd agree there. There isn't a huge degree of difference between bacon unless you're just buying bottom of the barrel crap. I guarantee you though mine tastes better. And speaking of whiceh I went by Cleaver & Co. today and bought a 2 lb pork belly. Will start the cure on it tomorrow and have another batch of homemade bacon by the end of next week.

Are you trying to tell me you didn't use the faux cheese product they put in the box?

I don't "look down on you." Get over yourself babe.

Most likely

I will wholeheartedly agree the homemade bacon tastes better. My brother makes wild boar bacon that is out of this world.
Maybe looks down is the wrong wording but I couldn't think of a better phrasing in a pinch.
I was comparing pastas. Not nasty fake cheese. It was the same before that.

Love some fish sandwiches! I always fry more filets than needed for supper and then eat the sandwiches the next day from the leftovers warmed in the oven.
BTW- you got it right on the cle slaw IMO.
