What was the score to all of your payoff games? We are playing some lesser opponents for sure, but beating them by 50-60. Would it make you feel better if we left the starters in past the 2nd quarter and won by 100?

Curtis has way more playground leeches than Rummel. It's not just coaches but parents. They have a lot of help with that program.
What rummel coaches are at kg(kings grant?) recruiting or at other playgrounds?

Evangel was going to play y'all close if the QB didn't get hurt...do they even have any college prospects any more?
They were moving the ball well....had what, 13 or 14 PTs when he left?
The starting D didn't give up that many all year

Which of these programs would you choose to spend your three hours watching.....ask yourself?
On a given night? I'd much rather watch Rummel vs Jesuit over Curtis vs. Newman

It's like a big 10 team playing one game a year and claiming they could beat the sec champion.
so you're saying Curtis couldn't beat Rummel?
26-2 VS CATHOLIC LEAGUE.. shaw 97 and rummel in 69.... so.....

Your correct, that QB was very accurate and was putting it right on the money and we were making the tackles. Started to be a different game when we began to put him on his back. That's what good teams do. Please don't talk about our competition, Barbe was not even suppose to be in that game. They recovered 3 on side kicks in a row the week before to get the game. When does that happen? Y'all didn't even play the best competition in 5A.

I can't imagine a team with a better offense than Barbe in the state. It was a close game for 3Q.

You know I was talking about a team and not an opponent or game.......single program

Curtis people will never understand how different Rummel & Curtis are, and what huge advantages Curtis has over rummel. Not so much holding back any more as they have put restrictions on that, but Curtis having a middle school is really the biggest thing.
This is huge. Especially at the playgrounds in Jefferson Parish. All the studs are usually in Curtis by the time they get to high school. Running the same offense over and over and over until they're a well oiled machine by the time they're freshmen. Sherman Badie, Richard Allen both from Bright. Brandon Porter from Jefferson. Ronald Green (now at EJ) from Delta. All studs, all Curtis.
They have a great staff, don't get me wrong, but the system they have in place plays a huge role in their success.

The only players they had were a QB and tight end. By the way, there are 3 phases of the game. They were poor in the other 2 for sure. I went to the game and your right the sad part is it was close for 3Q. Would the real Lester Earl please stand up?

Where do you get the balls? Preaching to others about competition.

How does Rummel that is off of Severn get a kid from the River Ridge area very close to Curtis. Hmmmm

Kid and/or his parents might actually be interested in an education. Some people have preferences. I live about a mile from Rummel but I went to Jesuit. Not like they recruited me away from Rummel.

Every parent and student has the choice to go where they prefer to be, no free rides here.

So don't complain about a kid driving 10 minutes from river ridge

Of all the supposed greats that Curtis turns out, how many are busts on the next level? Gets tougher when you're playing against guys with a comparable skill level and are the same age. McKnight and Jonathan wells are probably the notable exceptions, but even they didn't exactly set the world on fire. Don't even mention Chris Jackson, kickers don't count. How many times over the last 25 years do you think Curtis would have beaten west Monroe?
