Are you a fan of AAA (Adult Album Alternative), Adult Rock, New Rock, College radio, Quality Rock, Classic Alt. Rock, including all types of Blues

Good music has a many different names and with todays technology, there's no reason why you can't be enjoying such music on a regular basis.
So here's a couple links to help get you started.

Its also on the Tunemark app
XRT Channel X
First with Alt Indy Rock
Music choice has a 3 really cool stations that I like.
Alternative, Adult Alt Rock, and My favorite, Classic Alternative
Pound for Pound two of my favorite stations just happen to be in Louisiana
KROK - Channel 95.7 Leesville
and
90.9 KSLU - Hammond
Other favorites around the country

WEHM Water Mill, New York

The X - Reno, NV
The Coast Fort Bragg, CA
91.5 - Com. free high school radio! Columbia City, IN

And now for the Apps
... etc etc etc??

Lots of Apps out there, let's start with the
Public Radio Player app
Lots of great live stations, and tons of 'on demand' shows!
Just go to the app store and download that and the following:
Music Choice
SHOUTcast
Radio.com
AOL Radio
TuneIn
Birmingham Mountain Radio
iHeartRadio
(there's one awesome station on there I listen to and that's the
World Class Rock station)
Tunemark
Tacoma.fm !
(one of my daily 'go to' stations!
Love this one)
AccuRadio
(several fantastic commercial free stations)
and most importantly
Live 365!
I hope this dip into some of my stations help with your quest in finding and enjoying great music!
Maybe it can get a sticky or at least a few bookmarks.

WFMU in Jersey City, NJ may be the coolest radio station in America. It has the incredible Beware Of The Blog (a MUST for fans of outsider music and other demented stuff) as well as podcasts like Soulville.
---------
The Eldon Thacker show
Discovered this radio show a few months ago. Sunday nights at 10 PM on WLAC-AM 1590 in Nashville. Plays everything from Hank Williams to Trampled By Turtles.
Fans of the mind-bogglingly awesome American Roots Radio show on Sirius/XM should love the music (I admit, Eldon Thacker's comedy may be an acquired taste)
Eldon Thacker Facebook page -- Links to playlists and other stuff
Listen to WLAC online
Listen to some old shows
----------------------
Psychedelic Jukebox
Podcasts:
The Rising Storm -- 60s Nuggets: folk-rock, power-pop, pop sike, British Invasion, garage bands, etc...
Twang Nation -- Americana, alt.country and roots music
Mountain Stage
Pacific Street Blues & Americana -- "Omaha's Roots Music Authority"
The Modcast
Medicine Ball Caravan -- KRVS Lafayette, "An eclectic mix of folk, rock, singer/songwriters, in-studio performances and interviews"

about 12 years ago is when they switched to a true college radio station format and that's all I would listen to when I lived in Hammond.

Hey Kafka
I can't look it up right now, but you'd probably dig the KEXP show called Shake the Shake
I like to play it when we're having a good time!

Also a great little feature on the
AOL Radio app, the custom station option.
Just type in a song or artist and it plays music that is similar.
I dailed up The Black Keys, and I gotta tell ya, it plays a great mix!
