Interesting fact about the penalties. Right up to the LSU game, Bama and their opponent were pretty close on penalties- 4-6ish type numbers. Starting with the Bama game through the SECCG (EXCEPT TAMU) those numbers were closer to 8-1, 7-2 in Bama's favor. Coincidence? I guess they just became more disciplined.

Has any bama fan actually tried to defend this shite yet?

not surprising from the sec and why i wouldn't be against leaving. the sec doesn't even try to make sure bias shite doesn't happen.
There aren't enough words to describe the level of dumb you have attained.

A. Any talk of leaving the SEC is ridiculous. For all of its MANY, MANY flaws, it is the best game in town, and pays its members accordingly.
B. The SEC needs to grow the hell up, and get past its nepotistic old boys network, whoever it favors. Whether there is real, provable bias or not, the fact that the second most powerful and profitable sports organization in the United States is leaving itself open to the implication of these charges is beyond ridiculous. The conference needs to start acting like a real institution, not a backwoods hunting club or regional bush league run out of a damn hotel in Birmingham.
If the SEC refuses to do this, then it's only a matter of time before someone catches them with their pants down. The NBA got off easy when only Tim Donaghy got caught red-handed gambling, but it still hurt the league's perception for several years. And just look at the MLB, and the fact that it took the better part of a decade to get past the issue of steroids. This is a potential problem for the SEC just waiting for a front-page headline.
If someone really IS doing something fishy, rest assured that it will eventually get exposed. There are too many enterprising journalists and scandal-mongers out there digging for dirt everywhere they can find it, and the bigger the organization, the bigger the target they represent. It's only a matter of time before someone starts getting deep into the SEC's business, and looking for anything that smells.
To sum it up, the real crime is the arrogance and stupidity of letting alums of one member organization run the majority of the league office. This just invites accusations and trouble. Surely even BAMA fans can understand this.

Nice try, but all the AD's were involved and they had to work around existing scheduled games as well. He didn't have the ability to just "draw up a schedule" and stuff it down everyone's throat.

Get those Auburn boys on it, they probably closest to it. And I think they owe them one.

Just beat them in Tuscaloosa next year and it won't matte... Oh, wait.

This has been a priceless read. Calling a team pussy that beats you. Wanting out of the SEC. And we thought the Barners acted like little sister. Congratulations, you're all officially pathetic Bama biotches.

Has any mention of this been made in National media yet?

Amen, Plus 1000 whatever,
Despite my flaming I don't want to leave the SEC either. But if you have to threaten to leave to be treated fairly so be it. Living in Bama I can tell you they run the whole fricking state like a backwoods hunting club, not just the SEC.
I can fix anything by knowing the "right person." It is like living in a third world country sometimes, it is unbelievable. The SEC office is just an extension of the whole culture, as they tell me all the time "It is just the way we have always done it here." The scariest word in the state is not riot, fire, aliens, bear, or zombies, it is "Change." As the great author William Faulkner said of Mississippi "The more it changes the more it stays the same"
That is doubly true in bama. All I want is to be treated fairly. That ain't happening unless we win the SEC outright every year, (Then they can't screw us) which ain't happening either.

Now that Bama won the NC and has teh easiest path in human history for next year, can we bitch about this bullshite since ESPN analyst have already concluded no way in hell LSU can over come this bullshite schedule.
