Obviously doesn't matter since he is running with the ball
Spearing? Maybe
That should not be a helmet to helmet

Are you shitting me? So you can't hit a running back hard anymore?
Sure, just can't lead with your helmet.

Les Miles clock it
I specifically said pro football.
Everyone remembers Les Miles, but I saw Butch Davis butcher a last second field goal attempt even worse in a bowl game in 2010.

That's a hit that should merit a fine, not the ones they keep showing of Ed reed
I don't agree. Reed's hit last week was against a defenseless WR. This wasn't.

That hit was legal. No such thing as helmet to helmet on a guy running with the ball.
See Pierre Thomas against San Fran last season in the playoffs

Juggled it all the way down.

If they would call helmets to helmets for hits against RBs, there would be flags every 5 plays.

Why would he get fined? Lol. Clueless

Like I said, Sanchez can't catch a break.
Posted on 11/22/12 at 9:31 pm to Jcorye1
I felt they wouldn't over turn it, but I still don't see it actually hitting the ground.

He intentionally speared him with the helmet. I don't like it when it's incidental and They call it/fine it, but clear cut cases like that one need to be dealt with
Problem is it's bullshite barely touching the helmet that is getting called and hits like that go unflagged
Just don't flag any of them and fine upon a review, but the NFL cannot even get that right because they tried to suspend Ed reed for 3 legal hits

He's going to be fined, so while not illegal on field illegal according to the NFL.
