So, a couple of thoughts on the end of the half:
1. The Smiht foul was a blessing and a curse. He picked up his third, which is tough, but it sent Hibbert to the line for 1 of 2 and it gave us :20 to work with.
2. The announcers mentioned that they went too early. I think that's kind of silly. You don't pass up a good look at the basket. They are going to tighten up on D when the clock ticks down and you may end up with a tough shot with the clock expiring. Or....
3. The clock runs out with the ball in our hand. Jarrett Jack used to drive me nuts with that shite last year. He dribbled away drives a lot. It's not really a problem this year.
Until we have a killer scorer out there (ahem, Gordon, paging Mister EJ Gordon) to take that tough, contested shot, we need to get what we can sometimes. Second half!
