At 6'8", Rivers would be a pretty good target for the ball. Move him over, Les.

T. Magee hands down. Won't play anyone new so it doesn't matter. Moving on.

If they're not playing, then chances are they suck at blocking.

I recall Bowe and LaFell dropping lots of balls early on and they turned out pretty damn good.

You suggesting our guys need Lasics? :)

The frosh from EJ, Derrick Raymond, is probably the fastest kid on the team. Has not seen the field. Probably not ready, though.

Message Posted by Tigerbait357 I don't understand why we don't run cross routes, the only routes we run are slants and comebacks

It's very obvious you don't watch the games or just don't understand how football works. When teams load the box on first down we do run a lot of slants and hitches because those are the best routes against that stacked up front. We have run a good amount of deep outs against cover 3 this year. We've ran several sluggos. We hit Landry on a crossing route for a first down against SC. We also hit him on a sit down route in that same game. We run pretty much every route in the tree it just so happens on first down we stick to slants and hitches against that stacked up front and that's all you remember.

I thought he didn't make it to campus this year and would be here next year. Is that true or am I just being dumb?

We can't pass block. In case you had not noticed, we only run max protection routes with 1 or 2 recievers to keep Mett from getting killed. He is completely unmobile and cannot scramble to save his life. We throw the quick out because Mett has a strong enough arm to get it there and it happens fast. Crossing routes take to long to develope and plus , with only 1 or 2 recievers out for routes, they are covered, which leads to interceptions

This is the question. Protection has improved a lot over the last few games.

Protection had improved because we are leaving 8 -9 guys to protect. How hard is that to understand?

Williams was a top HS triple jumper so he has major hops, also why not give Bolden a chance in certain situations in the red zone, we could run multiple plays or even use him as a decoy

Ohh and if Les or Stud are reading this kudos to the 4th and 1 "Warecat" playcall....we need multiple plays out of this set with Shep in motion getting the ball running, throwing, or a decoy....switch ford out for hill every series.
