104th in the nation in Red Zone TD efficiency...

Great game, Tigers. I'm proud of y'all.
There's always room for improvement, and the red zone offense potentially lost the game at Florida and kept South Carolina in this one.
LSU has scored a TD when in the red zone 46.9% of the time (15/32). That gives LSU the 104th lowest percentage excluding UTSA, Texas St, UMass, and S. Alabama.
Louisiana Tech, Georgia, and Texas are the top three teams in this category by scoring TDs 86.8%, 82.6%, and 80.0% of the time.
Tech has 21 rushing and 12 passing red zone TDs.
Georgia has 13 rushing and 6 passing red zone TDs.
Texas has 15 rushing and 9 passing red zone TDs.
LSU has 13 rushing and 2 passing red zone TDs.
Green Bay (73.33%), New Orleans (66.67%), and Denver (66.67%) lead the NFL in TDs per red zone possession.
Looks like the best red zone teams have more balance than LSU does in the red zone.
Let's try something new, coaches.

Jesus Christ. Do you people ever enjoy a win? We HAVE to bitch about something all the time.

I agree, running between the tackles into 9 man fronts is getting kinda old.

This is not bitching, it's a valid point. It's great that we won, def kept out title hopes Alive, but throughout the game I couldn't help thinking that we should be killing these guys right now. That game had no business being close

Obviously you know very little about football. The celebrations ended last nite. Concerns about our offense are still justified...

We hae an immobile QB that we don't trust to throw in the Red Zone. The defense can focus on other players. We either need a credible throwing threat or let Ware run the Warecat.

How's it working out for them right now?

Yeah, UGA sure looked good against South Carolina last week. Almost as good as Texas against OU yesterday

And what were our offensive ranking last year when we made it to bcsnc game?

Some of you people are incredible.
No it isn't.
The pick by Mett that gave USC the ball at the one yard line and the huge punt return by Ace Sanders kept USC in the ball game. Neither of those were red zone plays.
Try something new?
We had over 400 yards off offense in this game with 258 coming on the ground against one of the best 5 defensive lines in the entire country. Yardage wise, these guys were only about 12 yards off of Bama's run defense beforet this game. We MANHANDLED them. Our rookie offensive line absolutely blew these guys up all night long.
Yet you guys are still bitching about the offense. How stupid.

I love how people dispute the OP with arguments that make no sense.

That's the point. All the OP is asking for is for this to happen in the redzone too.

Red zone problems appear to stem from the lack of a big bodied wide receiver or tight end who can win positioning battles with the DBs in tight spaces. Our WRs play soft.
This is compounded by a completely immobile QB, so roll outs, naked bootlegs, QB draws, option plays, etc. aren't a threat.
Every time we lined up inside the 10 yard line, USC covered our wide out with one CB and stacked everybody else in the box. We never exploited that.

It doesn't always work that way guy. Defenses play tougher in the redzone. That is a fact. South Carolina has one of the top overall defenses in the country and they buckled down when it came to red zone defense last night.

We were 1/5 in red zone tds last night. Les continues to believe that running smack into 10 people in the red zone is the way to score. If I'm not mistaken, we attempted one pass past the line of scrimmage in the red zone in 5 trips last night.

Did you even read the original post? Our redzone offense (particularly inside the 10 yd line) has been horrid. It should definitely be a concern.

How original with the picture.
Yeah I read the post.
The only two things that were a cause for concern last night were the interception ont he slant on a bad read by Mett that gave USC a short field to a TD and the bad special teams play to let Ace Sanders break a 50 yard punt return.
We don't have to score a TD every fricking drive with the defense that we've got.
I dont have my head in the sand, I am just smart enough to see that we ran for 258 yards against one of the best run defenses in the nation.
You can't just "punch it in" everytime you get in the red zone against a defense like that. You seriously know nothing about football if you think its that easy.
