I would say the dome because of being closed in, but a big night game in Death valley with 92,000 plus would be interesting.

I sit in the nosebleeds for Saints games and they are generally louder even way up there. Much louder IMO. The Saints fans are just as drunk, don't bring all their kids, and of course the dome keeps the noise in.

But I've never been down on the field in either so I'm only comparing the noise from the stands.

Let's go pre drew brees. 2003 when LSU was just getting into the national spotlight. tiger stadium.

Lsu real fans don't go to the games because most have been priced out

even pre Brees, I have seen Boomer Esiason call three straight time outs then cry on the bench in the superdome

I guess Tiger Stadium has never forced an opposing QB into tears.

You must not have been in the dome for Steve Gleason's blocked punt against the Falcons. I can't imagine TS ever being that loud.

I've been to both dozen & dozens of times in the last 15-20 years and it's splitting hairs most of the time, but a handful of times in TS has been more deafening than the dome IMO.

It's not a pissing contest. They are both as good at it gets.

Differant kind of loud if you ask me...

Dome is a more muffled lower pitch sound while TS is a higher pitch noise..and seems more in your face..

I get a headache in the dome for most big games..

what Saints games have you been to?

I don't really miss either games

I'll put the Falcons game, eagles game, and vikings game against any LSU game. Both are incredibly loud

Have fans in the Superdome or Wisconsin fans ever made the earth quake?

Before the opener against the redskins, I would've said TS. But the who dat chant before kickoff was louder than anything I ever heard at TS. But that that was built up frustration from the offseason

never said it hasn't, just showing that the Superdome has always been loud, it isn't just since Drew Brees has been here

They are pretty comparable. Superdome is louder throughout the entire game but TS probably gets louder in big moments. With that being said, I've never heard a louder moment than when Gleason blocked the punt against Atlanta...

I bet if you put a seismograh machine as close as LSU's was, they most probably have

Absolutely. That's not a knock on LSU fans... it's just a matter of physics. I've been to Saints games and my ears were still ringing the next day.

My thoughts for the most part as well.

Especially with the quality of opponents venturing in to TS these days and the difference in talent levels makes for dull game/crowd.

Several but not close to all....the only moment that I can think of in the dome that comes close to TS is when Gleason blocked the punt....1988 auburn game, 1997 florida game, 2007 florida game, 2008 bama game, (just to name the ones I remember fastest) were all louder than any other play in the dome
