I have 2002 2wd chevy silverado 1500 I've been looking at rough country any other good ones for a reasonable price? TIA

I have a rough country on my truck. The people that put those bad arse lifts on trucks and then drive them mainly on the streets are dumbasses. Very few people that have lifted vechiles use them to their mechanical extent. How high are you looking at going?

Looking to go between 2-3 inches so it'll level out my truck and give me more ground clearance for when I go down to deer camp and stuff like that and make the truck look good ha

I have a 2wd Titan with a 6" RC lift and I love it. I only got it for looks so I guess I'm a dumbass. I guess everyone that owns a streetbike and doesn't do 90mph everywhere are dumbasses too

Just get a leveling kit for the front. Should be less than $100.

Did not know you could get a lift kit for a 2wd.... Thought you could only get a leveling kit.. Learn something new everyday I suppose..

I installed a RC 3.5" on my XJ. And yes, I love to go rooting.

Yea i think this is my best option considering the price what do you think?

It's what I would do if I had a 2wd in that year. Maybe go with the 4.5 if you feel like 1.5" more is worth a 100$ price difference.
I had a 6" rough country on my 01 z71 and it held up to a good bit of abuse.

That package comes with new nitro shocks after i put everything on how much of a difference in the ride do you think it will make?

My truck has a 6" superlift kit that is 18 years old and has 150k miles on it (the lift, not the truck) and everything is still tight and there have been no problems with it.
I will definitely be using their product in the future.

I don't really think they're better or worse than stock. You'll need them bc they are longer, but it should ride about the same as stock.

I've yet to meet an aftermarket shock that held up as well as a factory oneq

I can agree with that. I only had my lifted truck for 2 years and I think they may have been going out towards the end, but Im not really sure. Then again, I cringe thinking of the things I put that truck through
I dont think they were the nitro's though.
Eta- fox shocks and bilstiens would be an exception.

Are you doing it yourself? You may just need a leveling kit.
