A one-loss SEC team will not get into the BCSNC if there are 2 undefeated teams from other BCS conferences. It is always good to see at least 1 loss from all of the championship contenders from each BCS conference.

Take a step further ...Auburn, Texas and USC were undefeated .. Auburn doesn't go.
If USC were undefeated, the loser of the LSU / Bama game would not go, even though they clearly might be the better team.

AW. THIS GUY GETS IT. PAY ATTENTION RANT.
There are too many teams with potential to go undefeated with their weak arse schedule. leaves no room for errors. When a media darling top 3 team goes down it provides some insurance in case we lose a game. (ask Bama how much it helped them last year that no other team was undefeated besides lsu)
