the dumb frick ones still do .. but PR is doing just fine ... i am neither a spinosa fan nor detractor .. but the courts and banks pulling it out of his hands is going to be the best thing that ever happened to the place ..

And as has been said, with the rent and crowd at PR, it would be hard for an upstart restaurateur to establish there.

that spot where the mexican place is moving in is pretty big .. they do have a stage set up behind the bar at that one and the bar is long as shite .. it might work with the right situation .. i could see superior grill working in there with its thursday happy hour ..

I'm interested to see the group behind it. If they've got an established name or reputation it could work. The key is catering to the broad clientele coming from all over for their "night out."

actually .. ever since management ditched those security clowns from Tracer and spent a few dollars on EBRP Sheriff patrols, the crowd has improved tremendously .. a lot of the shop owners said .. "uh, NO, i don't think so with this rent" to management and they were forced to do something about it .. they have made some tweaks to the theatre policy and the patrols are keeping an eye on loitering .. it has gotten a lot better ..

Oh I wasn't referring to the gangs of kids who used to hang out there. I was saying that the restaurants will likely need to cater to the tastes of people who come from all over BR/LP to make a night of Perkins Rowe.

Didn't know they had made some changes to PR to clean it out a little. Might have to make another trip over that way.

I think when kids are out of school and they want a place to go at night, it can get rough.. that said, I've never had a problem with Perkins Rowe.
I liked the Grill Room.. I remember their macaroni and cheese was actually really good.. I found the music a little loud when they had bands there.. The type of food they served, the price point and the style of the restaurant didn't mesh well with loud live music.. It chased off the serious diners.
If the music would have been kept at a lower level, it would've been ok.
