I guess

You, I, and every recruit knows he won't be here long. He wasn't brought here to recruit.

I hope he can help recruit, but I also hope he stays away from our defensive players.

If anything Clemson probably does the best job of doing less with more. Taking 5* recruits and making them look like 3*

That would be nice to beat saban at his own game. A lot of people think that linebacker will wind up at bama.

I don't understand why they are willing to pay recruits well enough to have the classes they've been having but don't hire a good coach. Seems like their money would be better spent if they could get a good coach and pay for a few less 5 stars.

I think the RB has cooled on RN considering his recent stunts...

7. Steele's costly attitude
Baylor had UNLV beat -- they led 24-21 with about 20 seconds left in the Sept. 11, 1999 matchup between two lousy teams. The Bears had the ball on the Rebels eight-yard line, and if they had taken a knee, the game would have been over. Instead, Baylor head coach Kevin Steele called for a run. Darrell Bush almost made it to the goal line, but UNLV forced a fumble, and the Rebels' Kevin Thomas returned it 99 yards for a touchdown.

"I have an explanation, but it doesn't hold water," Steele said after the game. "We talked about creating an attitude and getting after people. We were simply trying to create an attitude."

all of the negative comments are about his coaching accumen. This thread was supposed to be about his recruiting prowess.

The topic people, stay on it.

He can't recruit off campus, and it's possible that he wouldn't be allowed in the on campus recruiting process (not sure about the rules and who can participate).

He's going to help break down film, and little more than that.

Not sure why it matters at this point that his DC performance recently was less than stellar. He's not our DC. I seem to recall another secondary coach that was once a DC that was unable to have success that was pretty successful at LSU on the coaching front before leaving for Tampa Bay.
