We were pretty surprised to see this in the Ouray 4th of July parade.

That is awesome. Great little town, although I haven't been there in over 20 years and it was during winter. It did look like a little Swiss village.

If you are going to have a parade/party, you may as well bring in the professionals to show them how it's done.

But, how many ranters know how to correctly pronounce "Ouray"?

There were also some LSU fans in the room next to us on the first night.

We did Black Bear Pass in the rain yesterday. Borderline terrifying.

I'll bet that baby can fly down the Million Dollar Hwy in a snowstorm.

Haha that reminds me of home. I grew up in Durango about 1 hour down the mountain. And yes I know how it's pronounced!

Seriously? All 3 houses and a Vietnam Volkswagon make this a "nice looking town" that you are going there on vacation?

Would not recommend going to Ouray on vacation. Durango is the place to stay and the. Take day trips to the areas around there like Ouray, Telluride etc....

I would stay in Telluride (Mountain Village) anytime of the year over Ouray, Durango, etc. - unless price is an issue.

I don't think there is a more pampering place in SW Colorado than Telluride.
