This is true, but wouldn't that be the same thing as having a "sugar daddy"?
Basically, new ownership would mean getting someone who is willing to let Wenger spend the money they have.
Seems that many people are more concerned with WHO the owner is rather than his behavior.
If Kroenke and Co. were to spend as we fans think they should, then this conversation isn't happening.

Anyway, the club has come out and dismissed any talk of a takeover, saying that they have not been contacted by anyone about buying the club.
