Sad thing is, arsenal doesn't need sugar daddy money to compete with the mega-rich clubs... They just need to allow Wenger to spend the money they have.

Or Wenger just needs to spend the money he's given. Who knows what is actually happening. Once Arsenal get a few leeches off the wage bill, they need to invest in one or two big players.

This is true, but wouldn't that be the same thing as having a "sugar daddy"?
Basically, new ownership would mean getting someone who is willing to let Wenger spend the money they have.
Seems that many people are more concerned with WHO the owner is rather than his behavior.
If Kroenke and Co. were to spend as we fans think they should, then this conversation isn't happening.
