Offense

QB
Mett- 225-304 74% 2880yards 12.8ypa 26tds 7 Ints
Rivers- 8-15 71yards 8.9ypa

he will be a game changer on offensive, the guy gets the ball to his receivers, and makes reads. We have someone who can finally check out of a play and change it to something else. His ability to throw the ball down field with accuracy will bring something to this offense we haven't had since Jamarcus. He will occasionally try to squeeze the ball into tight spaces which is the only negative.

RB
Ware- 152 832yards 5.5ypc 6tds 2 fumbles
Ford- 137 869yards 6.3ypc 7tds 1 fumbles
Blue- 83 602yards 7.3ypc 6tds 2 fumbles
Hilliard- 105 609yards 5.8ypc 8tds
Hill- 47 269yards 5.7ypc 2tds
Magee- 33 197yards 6ypc 1 td
Our Depth at RB is scary everyone of these guys could either be starters or 2nd string backs on any team in any major conference. We have punishing backs in ware, hilliard, and hill; and we have quicker and more agile backs in blue, ford ,and magee. We have a massive O-line which should open up holes for these guys. With Mett the defense will finally have to respect the pass, which allows us to run the ball more efficiently.

WR
Beckham-69 832yards 12.1ypc 9tds
Shep- 39 603yards 15.5ypc 4tds
Landry- 33 482yards 14.6ypc 3tds
Boone- 17 221yards 13ypc 2tds
Wright- 28 395yards 14.1ypc 2tds
Williams- 9 78yards 8.7ypc 1td
Dural- 6 71yards 11.1ypc 1td
Our WR are going to be much happier this year with Mett at QB. He will find these guys when they are open and stretch the field with them. Expect big numbers from our first 4 WRs. OBJ has the ability to go deep and catch the jump ball. Landry is able to catch the ball over the middle and take hits while shep is decent on screens and curls; his ability to gain yards after the catch will determine how effective he is. Dural imo is going to be the only incoming WR not to redshirt, and i expect fobbs, and turner to be moved to defense. I think turner will excell at CB.

TE
Chase Clement 24 227yards 9.5ypc 3tds
Travis Dickson 6 42yards 7ypc 1td
we will finally have some production out of our TEs, but don't expect them to light it up because dickson is the only true receiving TE while clement is a converted DE

Defense
DE
Sonic Sam 48 tackles 29 solo 19 assisted 12.5 sacks
Keke Mingo 52 tackles 31 solo 21 assisted 10 sacks

Edwards,Rasco,Maclin, and Aghayere will provide solid depth for mingo and montgomery. Sam and keke will wreck havoc on QBs with their speed to blow by OT. The strength of our DT will push the QB outside allowing Sam and Keke opportunities for sacks.

DT
Logan 29 tackles 13 solo 16 assisted 4 sacks
Downs 23 tackles 8 solo 15 assisted 2 sacks
Ego 15 tackles 9 solo 6 assisted 1 sack
Freak 34 tackles 12 solo 22 assisted 3 sacks

these guys will be silent, but deadly. their job is to clog holes for RBs and collapse the pocket on QBs. Freak and Ego will be good contributors, when Logan or downs need a breather. These guys will beat down on opposing interior lineman. Don't be surprised to Ego or Freak to take downs place next to logan later in the season.

LB
Minter 66 tackles 44 solo 22 assisted 3FF 2 Ints
Jones 42 tackles 21 solo 21 assisted 1FF 1 Int
Fiest 33 tackles 24 solo 9 assisted
Barrow 30 tackles 12 solo 18 assisted

I think Fiest will start, but i don't expect to see much of Debo Jones, Lamarr Louis, and Kwon. Debo needs to get a little bigger, but he may be to good to keep off the field, Lamarr will probably play some special teams during the season, and i think rest Kwon and see how his knee progresses.

CBs
TM7 78 tackles 7FF 4FR 3Ints 4TDs
Simon 38 tackles 5Ints 2TDs
Collins 45 tackles 1Ints
Martin 23 tackles 2Ints
Jenkins 17 tackles

TM7 is gonna be even better this season he is gonna be opportunistic and create plays like he did in 2011. QBs will pick on simon and this year instead of dropping Ints he finally catches the ball. Our depth is solid, but we have young unproven guys behind TM7 and Simon. I expect Ronald Martin play both safety and CB.

Safety
Reid 67 tackles 4Ints 3FF 2TDs
Loston 71 tackles 2Ints

We have little depth here, so if one of Reid or Loston goes down we royally screwed. Reid looked way improved and much more aware in the spring game than he did during the season. Im scared that if he has a big year that he goes pro. Im hoping Loston finally lives up to the hype and fills the void left by Brandon Taylor. Loston was gonna be superman coming out of HS, but has yet to crack the starting lineup this is his chance and i hope he doesn't blow it.

Special teams
Alleman and WIng will do the same thing they did last year, and nothing different. Make FG and execute perfect punt placement.

PR-TM7
KR-OBJ

North Texas-W
Washington-W
Idaho-W
Auburn-W
Towson-W
Florida-W
USCe-W
TA&M-W
Bama-W
Moo State-W
Ole Piss-W
Arkansas-W
Georgia-W
Oregon-W

I expect us to be on a mission this year, the want to go into miami and kick arse. I want to watch us STAMPEDE INTO SUN LIFE STADIUM DRAG OREGON BY THEIR THROATS AND BEAT THEIR FACE IN. oh by the way i hope we make every bama player and fan curl up in a ball and be numb for days after we give them the beating of a life time.

One day at a time.

There's only one thing that bothered me with your list:

quote:

RB
Ware- 152 832yards 5.5ypc 6tds 2 fumbles
Ford- 137 869yards 6.3ypc 7tds 1 fumbles
Blue- 83 602yards 7.3ypc 6tds 2 fumbles

Our RB's were scary good with holding onto the ball last year. I know Ware had one in the game against Oregon.

You were a little too generous on the fumbles.

I honestly can't think of another game we fumbled in. Not counting muffed punts.

If we get this

quote:

QB Mett- 225-304 74% 2880yards 12.8ypa 26tds 7 Ints

and this

quote:

RB Ware- 152 832yards 5.5ypc 6tds 2 fumbles Ford- 137 869yards 6.3ypc 7tds 1 fumbles Blue- 83 602yards 7.3ypc 6tds 2 fumbles Hilliard- 105 609yards 5.8ypc 8tds Hill- 47 269yards 5.7ypc 2tds Magee- 33 197yards 6ypc 1 td

SHITE...our defense could do half of what it did last year and we'll be partying in Miami my friend.

you didn't account for the TEs then, but he will get game action.

In all seriousness how did you come up with these calculations? Have you been watching money ball or something?

Lol, I can appreciate the effort, but predicting stats for every starter is silly. Game breakdowns are better because it's not as ambiguous as individual stats.

I'll say this, if Mett throws for 20+ TDs and 2500 yards we'll be pretty much unbeatable.

Better yet how long did it take you to decipher who does what?

those numbers would give us 452 yards of offense per game and in 2007 our offense average 454 yards per game so the number aren't far fetched at all. Also that would give us 767 plays, and last year we had 770 plays. we would probably have more plays on offense this year because now we will be able to complete passes on 3rd down.

Well considering that all of the names mentioned never played on the 2007 team wouldn't you compare to last years stats? Which were no where near 452 yds per game with or without mett

with Mett our total number of yards would increase a little over 100 yards. Our passing game would be improved which would mean teams wont be stacking the box as often allowing the backs to gain more yards which would increase the number of offensive yards. It is simple.
