Thunder
Pg westbrook
sg harden
Sf durant
pf ibaka
c perkins

Bench
Saflosha
Collison
fisher

Heat
Pg chalmers
sg d wade
Sf lebron
pf haslem
c bosh

Bench
Battier
Miller
Joel anthony

Okay just looking at matchups

Westbrook needs to exploit chalmers. I think chalmers playes very good defense on ray allen tho but westbrook is a whole different ballgame.

D wade really needs to pick his shite up. Harden will be his tought defense assignment all playoffs.

Lebron and durant is going to be vert fun ti watch. Lebron needs to get physical with him from the get go amd set the Tone

Im assuming theyll put ibaka on bosh since hes a littke bit more moble. I think bosh will be key. If he can be agressive space the floor and get 20 and 10 a night the heat will win. He needs to get the thunder bigs in foul trouble.

Thunder bench is better than the heat for sure.

Durant and lebron will be epic.

Heat in 7.

This. Rondo really made Chalmers look lost tonight with his on-ball pressure.

Westbrook typically likes to get into oppsing PG's. If he gets into Chalmers early in the series, LBJ might be playing PG for the rest of it.

If you are Brooks, this is exactly what you want to happen.

Uh..harden comes off the bench.

Thabo Sefolosha will be at sg and be the primary defender of Lebron... Or wade. He is the best perimeter defender in the nba. Durant will not be defending Lebron except in rare situations

You're really overrating Thabo. He's a very good defender but not even the best one in this series. And he will not turn Lebron into a jump shooter.

I'm saying that's a bad match-up for Chalmers.

Hence the "RIP Alaska", since he's an Alaskan.

The Heat matchup way better with OKC then they would with the Spurs.

I've got Thabo defending Wade.

Who on the heat guards Westbrook? They've got Lebron to defend Durant. Wade and Battier could be on Westbrook I guess, since I can't see Chalmers slowing him down at all? I figure Battier would be on Harden when he comes in.

If Westbrook abuses Mario they will prob switch Lebron to him and put Shane on KD.

Honestly I would just put dwade on Westbrook but thats just me

So Westbrook would pretty much abuse Wade then, since Wade doesn't do anything worthwhile until the 4th Q.

I'm guessing they will probably cycle people on Westbrook throughout the series.

Its not hard to turn Lebron into a jump shooter, just play off of him or he usually does it himself.

Granted I might have over-stated that Thabo is the best perimeter defender in the NBA. However it is debatable he belongs in the discussion and only Lebron has an argument to be a better defender in the series. Just ask Kobe or Tony Parker.

We wont see much of Perkins in this series as he will be a non-factor. The only thing he can do semi well is be a low post defender, however the Heat dont do that very often. Otherwise he is a liability on the floor. You will see more small lineups with Ibaka/Collison and Ibaka/Durant manning the 4/5.

LBJ will be on Durant. Wade on Westbrook. Chalmers on Self. Bosh on Ibaka and Anothony/Haslem and company on Perkins. If OKC goes small with Harden in instead of Perk or Ibaka Battier guards him. On the other hand, Self has to either guard Wade or LBJ. Durant has to guard the other and boom there's your mismatch. Westbrook will shutdown Chalmers. Ibaka on Bosh and Perk on the big.

You'll see a lot of Wade on Westbrook and a LOT of Battier on Durant. Battier had a lot of success last season on Durant with the Griz, though that was last year.

You'll see a lot of rotating assignments from both teams. Should be fun.

Don't forget that while Thabo Sefalosha is in there instead of Harden, the Heat can put Wade on Westbrook and let Chalmers guard Thabo.

When Harden is in and thabo is out, that means the Heat have the option of putting Battier in the mix and having him guard Durant or Harden. Wade is a tremendous defender and could stay on Westbrook the whole time in theory but it's not like they have a coach.

The Heat actually match up well against the Thunder.

So you have Durant guarding Wade in the 1st quarter of every game?

That he is not.
