Going through the same routine sounds like a good practice. A 50 foot putt is one stroke and a 5 foot putt is one stroke. Something I actually need to work on is taking more time on shorter putts.

Oh I completely agree, and I do this. For a 5 foot putt. I'm talking about the guys who spend 30 seconds lining up a tap in.

Also people who seem like they are out there trying to catch people doing stuff wrong.
Sometimes I'll make an honest mistake and think guys are off a green that's downhill and I can't see well, I'll hit to it and they went back or something and I didn't see.
This happens very rarely but when I go up and apologize they look at me like I clearly did it on purpose sometimes. And it pisses me off.
If you leave the hole and come back, it's not really my fault
