I sliced the end of my thumb off one morning running traps. I had a brand new bowie knife and had used it to scrap the ice off the 4wheeler seat. I slid my hand down the blade to knock the ice off before I put it back in my sheath. I just taped it up and kept running traps.

You know, I have to admit it didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. Put mustard on it (BIL said would help) and put my glove back on. If I kept cutting it didn't hurt much (maybe because it was elevated or not thinking about it) but if I stopped it started throbbing.

So I kept going and everybody thought I was being a badass. No...just hurt less.
