No
I just love the way Hester plays.
Besides, LSU has the 2nd best rushing attack in the SEC...so we gotta be doing something right.

Not really. It's interesting if you think about it. Hester is definitely one of the leaders of our team. He's the guy on the bottom of the pile recovering fumbles, making blocks and getting the tough yards and 1st downs when we need them. He's not going to be a type of player who misses a huge game because he hurt his foot in a bar fight.
McFadden is sheer talent.

I guess that's a change for you.
Coke coming OUT of your nose.
Yeah, your guys great...I just wouldn't trade Hester for him.

Of course I am not sayin that Hester is better than Dmac, but at the end of his career he will go down as one of my alltime favorites. The dude is hard nosed, versatile, moves the chains, catches well, good at YAC, and can put it in the end zone.
My favorite thing about him is how he seeks out defenders to knock the crap out of at the end of a run, particularly on the sidelines, and gets a yard or two more.
He's a great tiger who could play on sundays. He's established himself within our offense. If we have an established burner by then for the D to key on, his Sr. season year could be spectacular
So no. I'll stick with Hester.

I agree. Hester is a stud. I don't think he has the gifts that McFadden has, but he's certainly loaded with talent. And, he'll be tough to stop Friday when mixed in with the LSU passing game.

Hester's ours. McFadden is theirs. Nuff said.

Hester is projected to have above 400 yards at the end of the season
I like what he does, though next year It'd be great to see him get around 800 yards and catch a few more...so that he can solidify his draft pick
this is college football, players come and go in 4 years, players probably 'peak' after 2 years...I would choose McFadden
though Hester is a better 'long-term' option
