RG3 is a more mobile Cutler in my opinion. That's why Shanny is so enamored with him. The Young comparison is good too, Shanny was with Young in San Fran too.

Huh. That's another good comp. Hadn't thought about that angle.

Let's not forget that RG3 is walking to a pretty good position. He doesn't have to be the saving grace from day 1. Luck on the other hand does.

Cam=no clue. I still think once you put more talent around him he'll be top 12 maybe top 8 QB in five years.

I can't think of 7 QBs I'd take over him right now.

For the 2012 season alone? I could.

For the rest of the current QBs careers? Hell no.

People also underestimate his work ethic imo.

Eli
Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Stafford

Rivers.. maybe?
Vick... maybe?

I think he's better than anyone else. Yes, including Big Benjarelyonmydefensefor3quartersthenactuallyplaywellmin

People underestimated everything about him pre-draft. It was crazy some of the stuff that was being said.

Big Ben (yes, he is actually a very good QB statistically)

I am assuming you are not including Peyton, and that is fair. However, I think Peyton will be amazing in 2012.

Cam is probably on par with guys like Ryan, Schaub, Cutler, and Vick, but he has the capability to blow by them.

I'm guessing luck prolly won't throw 100 ints in his rookie season

Interceptions thrown in a rookie season are a sure sign of future ineffectiveness (*coughpeytonmanningcough*).

Cam = Daunte Culpepper

If you insist on choosing a black QB as a comparison for Newton, he's more like Steve McNair than Daunte Culpepper.

I'm not one to play the "race card" or whatever, but a lot of it, most of it, was just blatantly racist, whether consciously or not.

RG III will be the bust of the draft and a huge success as a sports announcer ! Just my opinion.
