Brady has played in an offense where he has aired it out plenty

which I've already stated

Because that is the only way for it to be a way more unsafe offense.

not true. We throw the ball into traffic because we have colston and graham. The patriots drop the ball to welker underneath and let him get YAC. Drew Brees had a much higher % of his yards completed through the air. Throwing the ball downfield is statistically harder and more dangerous than throwing short routes. Completion % drops and interceptions go up

Both Qbs take what the defense gives them.

The Saints dictate to the defense most of the time, but we had the best offense in NFL history last season. We do throw a lot of short passes too, and we throw them at a much higher %

quote:

If there is a downfield pass open, both Qbs will take it.

the Saints and Patriots have different definitions of what is open. You are the one saying that Tom Brady is clearly #1, that was clearly rodgers last season

It was top 10 Qbs to this point. Bradys 2007 season and Rodgers 2011 were very close statistically. But Brady has had 2 more brilliant seasons along with his career and he has shown no signs of slowing up, therefore he is the best Qb in the NFL at this moment.

And again, anytime you air it out in an offense, in which Brady and Brees have both done their entire career, it is going to be unsafe.
