I think it just basically boils down to managers like to get a lot of people some playing time early in the season.
Maybe Fredi wanted some better defense behind a young arm.

If Huddy were back, and pitching, I could understand it. Wilson is a better defender.
Otherwise Pastornicky needs to be allowed to play every day and sink or swim.
