To me it's just going to come down to who can limit their mistakes which is probably true for any golf tourney.
However, at Augusta if you miss a green to the wrong side, or hit it over the green you can easily card a 6 or 7 in a heartbeat.
I think we'll know alot more after a round is played to see how players are putting and whatnot. And I know hindsight is 20/20.
ETA: I think you have to be a pretty long player to win at the current Augusta set up. It plays almost 7500 yards. Outside of Trevor Immelman and Zach Johnson The last 8 winners or so have been long hitters.
Just looked Immelman was 4th in driving distance that week, and Zach Johnson won with an over par score for the week. So I treat that as a fluke
I think you have to go all the way back to Mike Weir to find a short hitter that has won in the last 12 years, and even then the course wasn't at its current length.
