SoS’s Power Rankings 1/29/12 (updated every Sunday)
1. Kentucky
2. Florida
3. Vanderbilt
4. Miss St
5. Alabama
6. Arkansas
7. LSU
8. Ole Miss
9. Auburn
10. Tennessee
11. South Carolina
12. Georgia
General Overview
This is our second time to play Arkansas and like I said last time, this time should be much easier. Arkansas is still undefeated at home including Vandy, Miss St, and Michigan but have lost every away game. It should also be nice to have JOB3 back for this game as he wasn’t available the first go around. He has shown some great touch from midrange since coming back from his injury (as long it’s not from three). With what should be a pretty good crowd behind the Tigers, this should break us back into the winning column.
Schedule and SEC stakes
This game is very important for the Tigers. Seeing that we did not pull off any of the big upsets I was hoping for, this is an absolute must win. I think realistically we can go 7-2 to finish the season if the team really pulls it together, but 6-3 might be a bit more realistic honestly. LSU has played the toughest games of the schedule and the home stretch sets up nicely for a run and some added confidence going into the SEC tourney that may be our only chance at a birth in the NCAA’s. I still believe to get an at large birth would take 10 SEC wins which would mean going 8-1 to end the season, which is a possibility but not something I would count on.

So you think TJ is going back to Storm starting at the 4? I thought JOBIII played well enough against UK (he was the only one who really did anything) to keep the starting job TJ gave him on Saturday.

I definitely could have gone with JOB3 to start at 4. I just had Storm in there from last time and I didn't think it was a big enough difference.
They play about the same minutes. So its a wash for me.

Gotcha, just curious. I figured they'd split minutes anyways (like you said), but I think starting JOBIII is more of a confidence boost for him so he may get the nod.

just added that Quick Change will be the halftime show. If you haven't seen them, they are worth the ticket price alone. Seriously one of the best magic shows I'v ever seen. Really great, especially for the kids so bring them all out.

They are so awesome, I've seen them so many times since they started coming to LSU basketball games and I still don't get how they do it... Them and Red Panda (the lady on the unicycle that flips bowls onto her head) are by far my two favorite LSU halftime shows

I agree. We really need a decent win. Its beena while since Marquette.

If anyone needs a Rudy Macklin bobble, and can secure a Pete Maravich bobble, I'd be be appreciative.
Probably can't make it tomorrow.
