Throw down field a little bit more. I just hope he doesn't regress from being stuck in this overly conservative offensive play style. Monday night proved that you need more than a great Defense and Sp Teams to win a championship, you need some offense too!!!!

Any chance that he starts.talking up.Randall because he has the wheels to.escape the pocket and he fits the miles style offense? I can see it

actually miles'style was always a pro style run first with his running backs.
just this unique circumstance he had to go with a running QB. there is a reason we are recruiting players like mett, rivers, and kiel.

I just hope ZM can play the QB position better than JJ or JL. I have my doubts. He obviously didn't come close to beating JJ or JL out in practice this year or we would have seen him with signficant playing time, right? :worried:

Ahh hello!! A QB is supposed to throw the ball downfield, not punt, run and throw laterally. Maybe jj thought it was a punt, pass and kick "in the head" contest.

Mett, Kiel, Rivers, and Randall are all mobile QBs though which is enough. Mett did take off on a around the right end and appeared to have pretty good wheels when needed. Although, we're going to have to find a way to run to the edges of a defense without the option. Solve that dilemma and we're already a better team.

I think we'll see the offense we saw with Lee at QB this year.
I think Stud has done a good job all year. Miles decision to play Jefferson really fricked all that up.
Now that there will be no QB issue, I think we'll be looking at an offense like we haven't seen in a long time.

I hope they open it up a alot more than we did with Lee b/c lets be real Stud/Krags/Miles did not open it up for Lee he threw simple passes and some play action they didn't have the confedence in JJ or Lee just to let them go.

Jefferson is not a running qb either. In fact JJ and qb do not belong together. He is inaccurate and can't find open receivers. Bama did not shut out any other team all season. JJ is fricking garbage but it was miles fought for not trying something else. JJ has set all-time passing lows for sec championship and bcsnc history. Fine don't play lee but try someone else, anyone else. That was a fricking joke. Thank god I will never see JJ play this game again.

Someone needs to tell Randall that he isn't the starter & Mettenberger beat him out because he doesn't know that and is under the impression that he is going to win the starting the job next year.

Agreed. There's a chasm of unknown about what happened with Lee. I think nearly everyone feels he was treated like crap after Alabama game. There's just no explanation.
