Have you checked close game rematches? If a team's got the other's number I doubt the loser of the first wins the second. So, if in the first game the winning team wins by say 10pts or more then they probably win the 2nd game. But if its close suggesting that both teams are evenly matched then there might be some historical data to support it.

Btw, we were hoping in T-town on Nov5 that the trend of CNS never losing to the same coach twice in a row would hold up. It just goes to show you that some statistics are meaningless. It probably happened because Saban doesn't lose many games.

Yep. LSU/Georgia in 2003 and Auburn/South Carolina in 2010. Close the first time and then the first game winner blew the doors off the other teacm the second time. Ouch.
