I don't know a whole lot of people that went to ULL, but the people I do know despise LSU. Every single one of them. I just don't get it.

I am not a fan of either LSU or ULL so I don't have a dog in this fight but I think the hatred of LSU by ULL fans is hilarious and 100% envy.
To those UL fans who can enjoy the bowl win and this season for what it's worth and without care about LSU or any other team.
But to those UL fans who feel the need to strike up this conversation remember LSU is 22-0 all-time against UL/USL. The most points UL/USL has EVER scored against LSU is 7 in 1924. 16 out of 22 games they didn't score at all.
Point is... You have ZERO room to debate UL even competing with LSU. Get over it and be happy for an awesome season and actually fielding a competitive football team.

it's silly. LSU fans who look down on ULL are fricking idiotic. both are mediocre state schools in Louisiana. LSU just so happens to be ranked higher because of research, which has little to do with a student's undergrad experience. Standardized curriculums in engineering, science, and business are all going to be on about the same level.
