Ron Cooper was a defensive coordinator once at a SEC school, in 2003 at Mississippi State

He lasted a single season

His defense ranked 113th in the country in total defense, (474 yards per game), and 117th in the country in scoring defense, (over 39 points a game)

The year before, Moo State's defense ranked 24th in the country

The year after he left, they improved to 51st



Would be a great hire for the Aggies
