Morris "Motown" Claiborne Appreciation Thread

I know the Honey Badger is the topic of the day, but Mo Claiborne is the best DB in the nation and he represents himself and LSU with total class. That's not a knock on TM7, he's got attitude and I like it. But Mo is likely the first DB picked in the draft and you'd never know it from his demeanor - he's humble, hungry and a true team player. He could be upset about all the attention TM7 is getting, considering his own remarkable season - but he's 100% behind TM7. Mo is the man. I'm going to miss him.

I get ready to jump out of my seat when I see the QB winding up to challenge Claiborne deep!!
I always believe that every deep ball favors LSU because of him. He can flat out play.

most skilled DB I've seen at LSU

As Tiger fans, I think we have been extremely blessed to have been able to watch talent develop right under our eyes (PP7, Mo, TM7). It's been freaking awesome to watch

In a sense you gotta give the whole D a shout out, TM7 couldn't make those big plays without everyone else dong their assignment and Chiefs schemes.
I do love Mo though, solid all around CB and athlete in general. Also gotta throw in Tharold Simon in the mix too, he's young but a hell of a CB. You don't hear his name because he's busy doing his job locking down receivers. Simon says NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

"Motown"
You can go there, but there's a good chance you'll get your shite picked.

I remember his last game for Fair Park v. Haughton.
He played WR and DB. Haughton threw a deep ball in the final seconds. Morris and the WR tangled feet and Morris was called for a penalty. Horrible call that changed the game for Haughton.
Morris was extremely upset but he knew he was moving on to bigger things at LSU. I'll enjoy watching him in the NFL.

that man is rarely out of position and almost always in the QB's head.
it is special having him and the rest of the DBs at the same time
GEAUX MO!!

Morris Claiborne needs to man up and stop slipping whenever he gets beat...we understand its not possible for a CB to cover all the passes so nothing wrong in getting beat but he needs to stop acting and blaming it on the slip

He and Eric Reid are two of my favorite Tigers. Ever.

He has unbelievable coverage skills, good tackler, and hands of a wide receiver. That is rare to find.
