I'm heading to Delacroix this weekend. Are they still biting at point fenne? Any other spots I should try? TIA

Point Fienne
Skippy Lake (next "bay" south of Point Fienne down the pencil canal)
Cut on the south side of Oak River that leads into Little Crevasse.
Capt. Jack says the Reds are starting to migrate into 4 Horse Lake

Gotcha. You do pretty good last weekend?

I thought you said you went last weekend? I went two weeks ago and did pretty good thanks to Yalls tips. If I don't drink to much I'm gonna go in the morning. I'll let you know how it turns out

No. Went this past Sunday. Remember how it rained all night Saturday? Yeah, well it finally stopped around 730 and actually cleared up and we got a few hours of clear weather before the winds turned to from the north and we got out of there.
We managed 2 14" trout, but they were fatties. Also caught 2 20" drum but threw them back. Landed a 15" red and had to toss him back. That was it. The tide was falling hard. Checked the charts and the tide range was 2.6. Way too hard.
I'll be back out there soon hopefully.
'79, lemme know when u wanna go. Maybe we can hook up with meauxjeaux and actually catch something.

I appreciate the honest info. I figured it was tough last weekend. The wind was out of control. I don't get to fish as much as I'd like too but when I do I want to catch fish...that's why I appreciate the OB. I think we should have an OBGTG at Sweetwater one weekend...
